The "Onco-HPV" reagent kit is intended for qualitative detection of high carcinogenic risk papilloma viruses (HPV) DNA in human biomaterial samples and their differentiation by the method of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with real-time fluorescence detection.
The material for the study are smears from the urogenital tract (scraping the epithelium of the cervical canal, scraping the epithelium from the surface of the cervix, scraping the epithelium of the urethra). Using the reagent kit, it is possible to detect HPV DNA belonging to the following types: 16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 53, 56, 58, 59, 66, 68, 73. The listed types of HPV have high transforming activity against epithelial cells and may be an etiological factor in the development of cervical dysplasia and cervical cancer.
The scope of the set is clinical laboratory diagnostics, scientific research.
In vitro research only.
